In MAY 2016 WTC received a call from Wyndham Council to say we had been successful in receiving a Grant for $725,000 in a joint partnership with Council and Werribee Secondary College to upgrade their auditorium into a semi professional theatre which WTC would have access as a home . Something we had been lobbying for years with council.
In December 2017 Mr Tim Pallas (Member for Werribee, Victorian Treasurer & Minister for Resources) joined other dinaturies at Werribee Secondary College to announce formally the project.
By 2020 due to issues outside of our control the project did not proceed. This was very disappointing for the company as we had put many hours into the upfront planning.
We will continue to work with Council to find a Home for WTC and will continue to perform at the Crossroads Theatre as we have done for a number of years.
